If you frequently check a message against a document, ask to see those apps together on Fold8. Look for readable text, sensible window sizes and convenient typing. If an app simply stretches its interface, it may not deliver the improvement you expect.
If most tasks are quick checks between meetings, ask which notifications and actions you can use on Flip8’s cover screen. Check your favourite apps individually. Do not assume every action available on the main screen is also available outside.

Confirm that cases and screen-care accessories match the exact generation. Before applying an extra protector to an inner display, ask for the manufacturer’s guidance. Ask about repairs and warranty coverage rather than assuming that a folding screen is covered in every situation.
Budget for the whole purchase
Compare current prices for the chosen colours, included accessories and written warranty. Add any charger, case or delivery cost you need. Check capacity separately if your files make 256GB unsuitable. A sale on one colour is not proof that every variant has the same price or availability.
